CALABAR INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER
The Calabar International Convention Center in the southeastern part of Nigeria is situated on top of a hill in the scenic river delta of the Cross River State. Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC) consists of four adjoining sculptural volumes. The new cultural center offers 35000 sqm of space for concerts, film festivals and exhibitions and the advantage to have several types of events to take place at the same time. The design and overall aesthetic of the CICC was the creative work of the renowned Danish architects, Henning Larsen Architects that won an international competition for the project in November 2011.
